Facing the reality of emotional burnout during social unrest, Uhura recognizes the importance of taking a break and community healing and celebrates Juneteenth for being that during the 2020 uprising in Minneapolis.

The original mini-comic was printed by Toxic Metal Press under their Black comic artist support scholarship and distributed for free with crayons to youth at Juneteenth block parties. Uhura is still reprinted annually and passed out on Juneteenth.
